Ron,

It takes all kinds, I guess. The reason Internet stocks are starting to shake out is because there are so many folks like you who invest blindly on the word I-N-T-E-R-N-E-T, regardless of all other forms of value.

Many net-based companies are hard to value because they represent unique value propositions. LOAX does not fit into that category, it's easy to value because companies like it are bought and sold every day. Internet premiums apply only when masses of investors jump on for the ride without understanding a bit about the fundamentals of the company or industry. And no, I'm not saying S-1's are hard to read, I'm saying that very few amateur investors read them, and fewer really know how to read them critically. I think it's also fair to say that very few who invested in LOAX read them or, if they did, they didn't really understand them.

And by the way, the pros will tell you that there IS such a thing as a predictable ride. Not all stocks are predictable, and even the ones that are are not 100% predictable. LOAX's moves since its IPO have been largely predictable, at least on a 10-day moving average basis.
