<<<<The one thing I wonder about is if people suddenly decide on December 31st that they need to 'have some cash on hand just in case', and everyone decides to go to the bank at the same time. The banks may not have enough to satisfy everyone, and some people may get in a panic.>>>>>
Roger, Beings that Dec.31 is New Years Eve, maybe they'll all be looking to buy champagne. Ever see anyone wanting to get booze and not be able to do it? Panic indeed.<gg> Seriously, I think there could be disruptions, particularly in third world countries. Perhaps to some extent in this country as well. I have been asking people who's opinion I have come to respect. My head is not in the sand but my philosophy of life will not allow me to live in fear. Any additional views in your area of expertice would be appreciated. D.H.
<<<I mean, please, if we get to THAT point, I'm not going to work anyway, I'll be at home with my family trying to figure out how to make do there.>>>
BTW, I'm with you on that one. |
