that query gives one the impression that
Genetic Therapy, Human Genome Sciences, Vical,
Transkaryotic Therapies, Transgene, and Cell Genesys
are pretty big players.

A treatment for CF and EPO production will probably
be the first two big successes from gene therapy.

I should have considered my rant about the public's
perception of the area of Gene Therapy a bit more
before I typed:

Obviously the public has no opinion on the subject.
(And biotech is going to march along regardless.) If
you asked ten people off the street what genes are
and what they do, you would not get a correct answer--
heck, I myself am only moving on to biotech investing
201 this year!
