True, but from what I (think I) have learned elsewhere, the telcos will focus on businesses first because that is where the money is. SBC won't have their DSL service here until next month at least, and will charge far more per month than Charter. When they come back on Tuesday, they'll be here about 20 minutes: insert card, configure email, etc., get online. To run a cable today took about 20 minutes. When completely upgraded for 2-way, I'll get an email telling me which cable to take out. That is not a big deal. People care about their pockets, and Charter is giving me free installation, first month free, and free modem until the end of the year. SBC won't do that.
