<< I had the same experience with @home here... 2 service visits were required for installation and an ethernet card in my PC, which means if I get a new PC its another service call, etc. Besides being just a nuisance this high maintenance is slowing the growth of cable vs. DSL. In contrast G-lite doesn't require any on-site service.>>

I just bought a new computer not long ago, just order it with ethernet card and cable ready, for about an additional fee of 50 or 60 dollars. Hooked it up to my modem (motorola). installed the @home disk,on line in 10 or 15 minutes. If I were you I would look into G-lite a little more before making any decisions.
