Disagree, There are those who read these threads who have large positions in a particular security. They are indeed in the major money league..True, They may never post on a thread, but they read the threads of a particular security or have someone else do it for them, to get the pulse rate of a stock,a feel as to where the majority is thinking about taking profits or buying.....An edge.....Secondly, even a wealthy person gets lonely..A public forum such as Silicon provides an outlet where we can have interaction with others without them treating us differently because of our money..I know several multi-millionaires on Silicon..Maybe not your kind of big league, that is 50 million or more...Finally, on these low priced issues, it doesn't take a wealthy man or woman to move them...Get a group of individuals or investment club, and they can use the same bat on you...So even a small fry like myself, needs to be careful...
