100Hot GNET Long list -- 16 seats left -- One of the most powerful elements of GNET IMHO is its lifetime membership. I hope that management maintains this option. World population is large enough to keep growing membership with infinity.

Being in it for life, you better invest in the quality of it. Show your best site as you do with real life neighbours. You'll gonna stick with them for years to come.

We longs have all the same objective. To get rich holding and accumulating this stock. I really got turned on about investing when I read a posting of the Dell thread from someone saying he invested 28K 10 years ago and saw it grow to US$ 5.000.000. The whole thing for longs is to concentrate your holdings in the company where you really believe in. Dell has been the best performer of the '90. Lets work together the make GNET the best performer of the next decade. Let's all put 28K in the basket. Then 10 years from now, we'll have a Longs party and I pay all the beers.

So lets take this List from another perspective. From a shareholder perspective. How can we double the workforce of GNET with virtual employees, who are only paid in value accumulation. Lets create a new type of organization reflecting the power of the Internet. I see two business areas to focus on:

1. Marketing
2. Thinktank

1. As GNET gets a higher stock valuation, relatively to other I-nets, we have more power to buy other webproperties. Its valuation is partly based on opinions. Opinions can be influenced. The Internet is still in the early adoption phase. Now new ideas are abound. If we have a high stock valuation, GNET can buy all kind of young start ups and we expand the scope. Internet is about leverage, the bigger, lower cost etc. Let's think about marketing and post ideas on the thread on it. We might accumulate it in a list.

2. As others have said. There are a couple of extremely bright people on this thread. Lets start thinking how GNET can increase its value. Lets go through their webproperties and brainstorm about new applications. Post analysis with the quality of # 100 NotNeiderhoffer, but about opportunities for earnings growth.

If the Dell thread has a Clubhouse, we might propose to add a Hawaiian Beach House to this thread, where we can organize parties when stock hits new highs or one of us has its birthday. Then the main thread can be used for 'quality posts'.
