** SFAM in Barrons and Other Semi Equips Thoughts ** You read it here a few months ago, now read it in Barrons. SFAM due to report around July 8th. It has held real strong the past few days while the large caps have dwindled. FWIW, Scott Black has been pimping the small cap semi equips for over a month now. He also has a position in EGLS among others:

Watch the news wires explode going into Semicon West in mid July. UTEK has already warmed up its presses and is announcing stuff daily. Notice how the market hates UTEK. Good news in the form of real orders means nothing to the stock price. You talk about negative sentiment. But negative sentiment is serving up value in that stock now. Sometime soon, some fat cat(s) are going to start taking a positions. Note that UTEK is trading at a lower price now than earlier in the year when there were no orders being announced. This company is viewed by the street as a big time loser but all we need is a slight change in perception and there will be stock appreciation. Land a P-Gild or Ultrabeam and schwing!

These small caps trade in surges. If you look at the charts for my $14 to $15 Club (for example), you will see occasions where the stock spurts only to retreat a bit but not back to the previous trading range. Slowly but surely these stocks are coming alive.
