The conservatives are using a bad name. In fact, they used to be called the liberals!
The point is, I am not represented. I am opposed to all Democrats and Republicans. The Republicans today are what the Democrats were 40 years ago. We are heading in the wrong direction on most issues and the government payroll (federal, state, county, local), continues to grow. Each new administration creates more laws and restrictions and the succeeding generations accept them because they do not know any different, are brainwashed in public schools by government approved textbooks, and mollified by mindless bread and circuses via the media.
Bush or Gore, or Bradley... it really doesn't make any difference, It's all a game in the end at the expense of individual's real rights and freedoms. Try to get a job, get credit, buy real estate, etc. without having a SS card. You cannot. And the government even mandates that infants get them now.
If Clinton and Hillary had passed the federal health program they were pushing years ago, along with that national health card, I would have cut it up and sent it to the White House. Since part of the Bill was that defacing the card was a federal crime, I guess I would have gone to federal prison. I would have refused to pay any "fines".
This is where the country has gone. Do you think Jefferson would be happy? I think Jefferson would become ill just reviewing some of Bush's goals...
