Hi WS,

P.S. There is hope---I think---after all, it's alway's darkest just before it goes completely black.

Or as one of the airborne posters on the thread would have it, just before the train enters the tunnel......

I, OTOH, count on dawn after the darkest..... Just my pollyanna nature I guess. Or has it happened this way a few times in the past 1,461,000,000,000 days here on earth.

I also count on BRCM to produce a number of products that satisfy the requirements of the CableLabs DOCSIS 1.2 specification, which as we know is being author by BRCM and TERN. Kind of like writing your own future. I'll go out on a limb here, WS, and suggest that BRCM has more than the appearance of a bright future, I'm certain it has a far better than average chance of luminosity. But like you, I am not betting the ranch on this multiple trick pony. Nah, I'm betting on that other kind of luminosity as well. UNPH is another fav of mine. I just dream of an erbium-doped future. And LVLT as well. Someone has got to get the bits to the devices that use all those BRCM components, eh?

Now isn't this better, we're talking about stocks and technologies again...

Ciao, Ry
