Feels odd to put a friend's name in print. Like I'm telling on him or something. It's a little "familiar"? Weird, because to me he's not an author, he's just a friend I know. I go to his house; I talk to his dog and wife. Books are totally different. I don't know any "authors." It's too credible; too documentary. Like what if Norton wrote a book? Eeek. I do know a poet though; but see, that works; because she's never been published. Which I hope is corrected some day ~ she's never submitted. She's so good. But then she'd be like a real poet, and probably wouldn't read me things on her bed.
