Nuclear War Is Finality.

That's what makes it so coooooolllll....errr....hoooootttt.

What I find interesting is what all the worry about proliferation is
about.I figure the more countries that have them, the LESS chance they will be used...since the other side will just use them too. You know....M - A - D. Worked for fifty years so far.

Why is it that some countries are " allowed " to develop them and others are not?Isn't that " God - Like " politics?

OK...let's say North Korea actually did develop a Nuke....so what?
South Korea has them and could use them but they haven't.Oh ya...I forgot...it's that COMMUNIST THING again....sheesh...thought that was
all taken care of TEN years ago with the barbed - wire fence cutting
in the Former USSR.

Think about this...........Canada says it has no Nukes...Right? Well
don't you feel a little uneasy when the only thing between the US and Russia is.....uhhh...Canada over the pole?Scares the crap out of me.
Where do you think the intercept line ( if at all possible ) exists?
I'm sure it ain't in either of those two coutries?NOPE! It's in zee frozen waistlands of Inuit countries.Yep..we are the B-U-F-F-E-R Z-O-N-E Mr. C. Think I will take a visit to Pearson's old bunker...:-)

Oh well....time to stop thinking and get back to work on <g>

Manhattan Project

Imagine a time when it all began
In the dying days of a war
A weapon -- that would settle the score
Whoever found it first would be sure to do their worst --
They always had before...

Imagine a man where it all began
A scientist pacing the floor
In each nation -- always eager to explore
To build the best big stick
To turn the winning trick --
But this was something more...

The big bang -- took and shook the world
Shot down the rising sun
the end was begun -- it would hit everyone
When the chain reaction was done
The big shots -- try to hold it back
Fools try to wish it away
The hopeful depend on a world without end
Whatever the hopeless may say

Imagine a place where it all began
They gathered from across the land
To work in the secrecy of the desert sand
All of the brightest boys
To play with the biggest toys --
More than they bargained for...

Imagine a man when it all began
The pilot of "Enola Gay"
Flying out of the shockwave on that August day
All the powers that be, and the course of history.

Later Dude.
