David--Just remember Woody is about to get hit upside the head with something big, hard and mean...something that he should have seen coming. Yep, he'll be on the bench again.

While he and Bill were busy playing Martha Stewart and hanging curtains (wiring schools for the internet) they forgot to check for foundation for damage (y2k.)

(My apologies to Martha Stewart fans. Given her pit bull personality, she would have caught the problems in the basement early and then b*tch-whipped a platoon of contractors to get it fixed.)

Aside from Woody at least two others have some baggage on this issue they'll have to deal with. Bush Jr. has a Daddy that didn't do diddly. Had real efforts at real remediation taken place on his Daddy's watch we wouldn't be here. And then there's Mrs. Darth Vader. Wasn't her husband Senate Majority leader for a time during which crucial remediation efforts should have taken place? Then there's the Red Cross problem. If things do not go well at rollover and the Red Cross blows it with poor preparation advice or bungled relief efforts this will reflect badly on her.

Honestly David, if I were a political consultant and chose to use my powers for evil rather than not at all I could spin this story eight ways from Sunday and do damage to all of them. I'd sling so much sh*t at them (when the time is right) they'd need face guards, raincoats and boots to go out in public. They all have potential culpability issues on this matter that I'm certain (with the exception of Woody) they are not aware of (as well as unrealized political capital.) It's all in the Spiiiiiin.

Well there's something said for being right v. politically powerful, rich and famous...and we are about to find out just what that something is, eh?
