Hiya Jed! Just spent some time the last couple of days up in the High Country near Mt. Shasta. Fished in one of them mountain lakes that was a clear as crystal, and caught a limit of trout in about an hour. Sat around for the next 4 hours playin' with the puppy and getting back in touch with nature. Thought about you and BLUE while I was up there, knowin' that you two get to see and experience such beauty daily. Can't say I'm not envious, but I'm also very glad for y'all, cause I know you just admire Gods creation as much as anyone. Saw 3 mule deer cross the road about 15 feet in front of me. 2 does and a buck. Not skitterish yet, as deer season hasn't begun (I don't hunt them). Chipmunks everywhere, and the giant pines. What a great country we live in. Hope you had as wonderful a weekend as I. Your pal, -Joe
