Good article Jim. I think that the number one factor in a potential small cap biotech rally is the cost cutting that has taken place at the large drug companies. Cost cutting resulted in lower funding for research and development, resulting in smaller product pipelines.

The large companies need to replenish their pipelines and the smaller companies more often than not, need cash to develop drugs already in the pipeline.
