So far digital capital has not caught on and has basically been a failure. Many companies have tried and have not yet been successful. CUST will be no different. No matter how good a technology, it is difficult to effect social change. Unless the technology provides something much better than what people are using today and is more convenient to use and is more intuitive then people will not use it. People have been using credit cards for many years, they understand it and they are comfortable with their use. They have no reason to change. Even DSS technology has been around for some time. Why hasn't it caught on? Perhaps in 50 years everyone will be using it, but not today and not in the near future. History is full of examples of technologies and products that went bust because they failed to effect the necessary social change required for their success.

What is most suspicious about this company is the lack of technical information about what they are doing. If they already have filed for patents then they are free to discuss their technology. Why haven't they? They use buzzwords but provide no specifics. These buzzwords are intended to generate excitement. What better way to get investors to buy the stock and drive up the price. But the proof will be in the pudding (or CUSTard, if you will) and whether it will appeal to the people's tastes.
