Tom, I probably should have put my TA remarks in broader context. As you know, the FOMC meeting is Wednesday. I am expecting the Fed to do what most others expect - increase rates .25%. Thus, that rate is already priced into the market (or more). Hence, once the uncertainty is removed on Wednesday, I expect a moderate to strong relief rally to last until at least Yahoo reports earnings.

With respect to athm, this means that like other inets, it should tread water until Wednesday, then rise moderately to strongly at least until Yahoo reports.

Therefore, decision-making based on TA is the conservative thing to do now (no surprises). OTOH, decision-making based on FA may be the more prudent, if riskier, thing to do.
