I totally agree with you that morality should not be legislated nor should it be an issue in the courts to be decided by judges who are appointed or, even, elected, which makes them politicians. IMHO, the reason the powers that be have wormed their way into morality issues is, because, morality issues are no longer controlled in most family units. With the breakdown of family values, the politicians have another opportunity to invade our private lives. Until the schism in the family unit can be healed, we are going to be legislated whether we like it, agree, or not. It's a sad situation.
