<An analyst from Pacific Crest Securirties in Seattle put a 5-10 year earnings target on
eBay this past Thursday of $28. >

I find this forecast astounding. I know you're a long-standing ebay bull, as I have been until very recently. Of course they have first-to-market advantage, and of course the online auction sector is growing tremendously. But are you not concerned that ebay is not quite the company that amzn is? And that over time, through stumbles and missed opportunities, ebay will fritter away its lead as amzn captures it?

Given this scenario, a pe of 2,030 makes ebay a risky investment, even by inet standards.
