I hate to risk generalizing too much here, but it sure seems to me as if most folks are becoming totally amoral and cynical, including most bureaucrats and corporate types. Laws, rules, regulations etc. are become a joke-not taken seriously by more an more people as such things get in the way of the grabbing of more power, money, and fame. Of course, the final result of this process is anarchy. We are just seeing this societal collapse happen in slow motion. It took a while to put our modern way of life together. It will naturally take a while for it to fall apart-but fall apart it will IMHO.
