Yeah that is definitely the type of item Amazon should not be selling.... too personal, don't you agree? Flowers are ok, though. Maybe they just put a bunch of stuff out there in their gift section and are seeing what sticks? There were a bunch of fragmented gift categories for a while there. They have the electronics gift section on the first page where the drugstore promo used to be... thats why I think it has the momentum now, still not much selection but the potential is there... "The Good Guys" is a big discounter of electronic equipment out here ... a chain of superstores. Their prices are the best with razor thin margins but try to get someone to help you - no way - and when you do get a salesperson they relentlessly push their extended warranties on you, either that or the loss leader in the paper isn't in stock anymore.... the experience is similar to buying a car, painful thegoodguys.com
