OK, I've offered a couple of compromises, one being banning the rights of liberals to bear arms, and one being having gun-owners and non-gun-owner post on their homes whether they are, or are not, gun-free zones. Here comes my best and final offer: ban handguns in cities. Let the paramilitary loonies keep their guns and drill out in the country, where they aren't hurting anybody. They could even call themselves militia? If they were well-regulated, would that do?
