Glenn -- anything that does well with mail-order should do well on the net. My unscientific personal poll of a dozen women I know who like catalogue shopping concludes that slow downloads are a problem -- this will go away with broadband etc. -- and I have always wondered why there is not more mention of web-based retail as an extension of mail order. I would rather buy a shirt from L.L. Bean than from AMZN.
