<<<I bet dowager empresses have their own chefs- so we could eat a lot. And we would have servants to order around.>>>

It occurs to me, Your Highnesses, that empresses such as your fine selves may well be at some risk of harm from rivals, the bitches, and that there is a staff position (or two) yet to be filled for which I may be highly qualified.

You will need an Official Taster. I have worked out the logistics thus: (I would say 'thusly,' as it is amusing, but jbe will not allow it.)

Each evening at 6:30 pm, the Royal Chef will cause to have delivered to me a banquet for two, (my husband being Assistant Taster,) and after receiving my approval for the sumptuous repast, the Royal Chef will commence to serve you two really really great royals!

Also, I was thinking, it is important that the Royal Households be maintained in perfect order and cleanliness, including windows, an undertaking that will require housemaids and other servants who are extraordinarily skilled. As you know this level of skill is not easily come by. And so I suggest that I might serve in a second capacity, also, that of Trainer of Servitors. As I see it, maids, cute manservants, and other such, would be required to apprentice at my home for extended periods before final assignment, subsequent to my approval, to your lovely Palaces!

I live to serve.
