gst, ebay is finally branching out globally. They just bought a German online auctioneer, and I suspect they will use their Secondary cash for many more such acquisions.

However, ebay has publicly stated that they plan to focus on person-to-person auctions for now, thus overlooking the business-to-business online auction marketplace. The latter is expected to vastly out-distance the former in future revenues. I understand that Amazon is already setting the stage for entry into b2b auctions.
