GST, I suspect that this market can handle 2 25 bp rate hikes (while money supply remains the same) w/o any problem. In fact, that's already in the market (which is why if the Fed hikes by 25 bp and switches bias to neutral there will be a huge rally). The third is dicey, but even that may bring the S&P down by no more than 5% IMO (witness the resilience of the S&P in the face of a steady growth of 65 bps in the long bond since April). I am very happy to note that you are no longer talking about 7 25 bps hikes <VBG>. -BGR.
