as a former employee, i may be a little biased, but i can tell you
that this company is definitely a hasbeen with no clear direction.
this is mostly the fault of a management team sprung from ibm's
wonder years when stodgy was good. after years of floundering in
the mud theyve taken a likely worse tack for business by diversifying
in some amorphous nebulae called "customer solutions". in other
words, theyre the radio shack of high tech. you have questions,
they have answers. except that just like radio shack, they consistently
*dont* have the answers, and the customers are starting to catch
on. this is a dead bird. any positive movement in this stock is
as misplaced as syquest's. you might make money but you wont have
the slightest idea why. amdahl's management certainly wont...
