Covad DSL will be available through strategic partner Qwest
Covad Communications (Nasdaq:COVD), a leading broadband access
provider, today announced the availability of its Digital Subscriber
Line (DSL) based services in the Denver area. Covad is a leading
provider of high-speed Internet and network access for both businesses
and residential users.
Covad has established relationships with Denver regional and
national Internet Service Providers (ISPs), making it easier to order,
install and manage high-speed Internet service. Currently, Covad's
services are available through Denver-based ISP Internet
Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:INCC) (www.incc.net). Strategic
partner Qwest Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:QWST) will offer Covad's
DSL services within 30 days. National ISPs Concentric Network (Nasdaq:
CNCX) (www.concentric.net) and Flashcom, Inc. (www.flashcom.com) also
offer Covad's DSL services to Denver citizens.
In addition to the Denver metropolitan area, Covad is offering
services in Aurora, Littleton, Ingleton, Boulder, and Castlerock.
Covad's DSL service allows high-speed access to the Internet and
corporate networks through the copper phone wires found in businesses
and homes today. DSL offers consumers a dedicated and secure
