Dan got the boot because he did not accept his suspension and he tried an end run around it. The Empress of California and leader of the panty throwing fringe seems to forget there were other conservatives suspended from the thread as there were other liberals suspended from the thread, including the granddaddy of them all, Les X and the divine Ms. M herself. I never did turn Harris in for her cockamamie views including several off topic personal attacks on such subjects as my profession, the state I live in, my wife, etc. It is my understanding from SI admin at least based upon the information I could garner that any of these would constitute grounds for suspension as off topic personal attacks. I'm just guessing here as SI admin is rather tightlipped as to guidance in these areas but applying the precedent of my own suspension and making a reasonable analogy, I'd say my suppositions are about right. I no longer believe that we should refrain from reporting those with whom we disagree. I figure what's good for the goose is good for the gander, or in this case, the daffy duck. JLA
