MSFT--There were some flubs in the trial originally, but considering the bias of the judge and the DOJ I think Gates knows exactly what he's doing--presenting the evidence he has, greasing palms in Washington, setting forth his views of the industry both in Washington and in venues like Newsweek, setting his sights either on reasonable (to him) settlement or an appeals court far friendlier--I think he knows just what he's doing.
