Gue,

I trade through Quick & Reilly which informed me recently to my surprise that I could buy Softbank shares on some kind of market in the shares made by Merrill Lynch. Simple transaction made through Q&R. The downside is that the spread is big, and it's hard to get intra day stock updates. But I am very happy to now own SoftB shares.
