That is because it is not something new. The history was clear: there is gold at Cangali and possibly a lot of it.

What is new though is that the truth is known about the nature of this property and the status of the said resources claimed by GE.

Now all GE's has to do to move up the price of its stock is to start spoending millions and prove up some reserves. Until then, GE remains overvalued.
