SOUTHERNERA RESOURCES LIMITED; KALAHARI RESOURCES INC.

GEOPHYSICS, DRILL PROGRAM AT BACK LAKE-MACKAY LAKE
NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, CANADA

TORONTO, March 20 /CNW/ - SouthernEra Resources Limited (SUF-TSE) and
Kalahari Resources Inc. (KLA-VSE) are pleased to announce the commencement of
a program of ground geophysics and diamond drilling on their Back Lake-MacKay
Lake project (70% SUF, 30% KLA). A high-resolution airborne magnetic-EM
survey, completed earlier this month, has indicated a number of discrete
anomalies in an area interpreted to be the source of at least two indicator
mineral trains. Ground magnetic and EM surveys will be used to prioritize
targets for drilling. Compositions of indicator minerals from these trains are
consistent with derivation from a diamondiferous source.
In another part of the property very high counts of ilmenites (more than
300 grains per sample) have been encountered in till samples.
Previously-obtained geophysical data are being reinterpreted to locate the
source of this anomaly. The ilmenite compositions are consistent with diamond
preservation. Kimberlitic garnets, and chromites, from this area all exhibit
diamond inclusion-type chemistry.
Drilling is expected to begin the first week in April. A total of 12-15
holes, designed to test the most promising anomalies, are planned.
The presence of the geophysical targets, combined with the favorable
indicator mineral chemistry in several distinct trains are all considered very
encouraging.
