<<<Question: Can a wife be charged with rape?>>>

Sure, under a specialized set of circumstances one could postulate.

Maybe.

A woman can commit sexual assault. But not, according to Black's Law Dictionary, rape, which is defined as "unlawful secual intercourse with a woman without her consent. The unlawful carnal knowledge of a woman by a man forcibly and against her will."

In Washington State, however, it is possible because Washington defines rape without regard to gender. But I doubt any man would dare face the gales of laughter which would follow any accusation of rape against a women. I have found no cases where a woman has been charged with rape of a man.

Just another example of a law with disparate impact.
