Firstly, our country was founded with slavery en force- hard to argue that wishing to return to that makes one a traitor. It might make one wrong-headed but hardly a traitor- of course you are free to define traitor any way you want but its general meaning is one who commits treason which are acts aimed to overthrow a state. If one proceeds by Constitutional amendment to achieve one's goals one is hardly overthrowing the state.

Secondly, our founding fathers clearly contemplated the use of force by "patriots" who might want to use all those guns guaranteed them by the Constitution to water the tree of liberty with blood. I don't personally want to see such a watering because one never knows who the waterer will be- but that is ONE of the principles on which this country was built. Your analysis is emotional and logically flawed imo. Even though I think in terms of results we probably agree- both in what we want, and in what we want to prevent.
