Not according to X's definition. If he does it loving his country and trying to make it better and truly believes that a few deaths are necessary to accomplish that ["the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots." T. Jefferson] then he may indeed fit the definition of a patriot, both X's and the dictionary's.
