To all non-geologists:
One rule of thumb, try using descriptive terms instead of genetic terms when talking about these deposits. If you describe shape/ geometry / other characteristics well the rest may follow. "Cone sheet" is relatively descriptive but can have genetic implications to some. Just because most threads are so horrible why should we lower ourselves to their standards?
