Frank, In my experience, if your interest is email, a board, and a chat room, 56k vs cable is not a big thing. I know that when I left AOL for ATHM the "buddy list" loss was a big one. I could always tell when someone I knew was on, which I enjoyed, and I am 64, for christ's sake! Imagine what it means to a 14 year old.
