It is the feeling of every veteran that I have ever talked to, that many men and women died protecting, what they considered to be, a symbol of the nation itself. This seems to have been abandoned as a concept but, I, for one, still think that, to burn the flag is almost like attacking the country. This may sound foolish to a lot of you younger folks, but that's my story and i'm sticking to it. truedog
