I am not sure. Daily fluctuations can be explained so many ways and because I focus on long term value I don't really pay attention to it.

Thats not to say I don't think there is something going on. There might be but if I have done my due dilligence hopefully we won't need to worry about daily fluctuations or their causes.

But let me say the daily fluctuations show a clear misunderstanding of ABX's earnings consistency. Why would anyone trade ABX based on the price of gold? Yes you can make money but you'd want more volitility.

This represents the buying opportunity. The market misconception about ABX's hedging, cantango, off balance sheet asset and average price per onunce sold (and ABX's own Capex policy) hide value potential.
