I think the main point he was trying to make with the analysts is they have much greater access to management than the average investor. What are the chances that the ceo or cfo would be willing to take my call to answer questions? I would think much lower than for a major analyst. I'm not saying they are smarter or better than some investors (I agree about the making money after downgrades etc..) they just have better access, which can be pretty important. Dave
