OT: Dave, I am baffled by the words "too pressurized to harness" also.

It certainly is not typical within the industry to abandon a highly pressured, large, 12,000 foot deep gas well. Something sounds a little fishy here. We know very few details, of course.
Surely though, they could have taken some flow measurements and/or pressure data, since the well was not compromised. I would think that if they had such data to show prospective investors, someone would know about it.

I did check their website and can find no mention of them ever drilling a 12,000 foot well. The website is very vague. It tells very little about the financial structuring of the company and their properties. There is no mention of a 300bcf target anywhere.
They do, however, splash their 4 billion barrels of light oil plus 10TCF Ekho target all over the place.
They have tried to imitate Hilton's "Flash 3" animation, but it runs too fast and I must say that geologically it is poor.

They claim to be the 9th largest California gas producer, but they give absolutely no data whatsoever on their website.
I'm baffled.

Perhaps Grayhairs can shed a little technical expertise on why their abandoned well was "too pressurized".

S&P.
