I'm thoroughly convinced that the ONLY way Dell will make a serious, sustained push to a price per share of $50 and beyond in the present market climate is to beat the best earnings estimates, and beat them handily. Anything less, including Dell's press releases, ambiguous company and sector comments from Dell, an auction site, or colorful computers simply won't do. If Dell beats earnings, we're up again, if not, forget about it again for 3 more months or longer as interest in Dell once again wanes. I just hope Dell hasn't seriously hurt their relationship with big daddy Gates by pushing Red Hat Linux so loudly. I'd hate to be a corporate enemy of Microsoft.

Good luck all.

Ciao,
John in Iceland
