ed, I am also, I do not know! altho companies listed are considered, and some funds , I suppose invest in the 1000, 2000, 3000, and pick and choose.....e-mail the russell co and ask these questions, perhaps they can give you info..on it....also search for "russell 3000 index" some info there!!! good luck enots!
