Mark, I am unaware of the exact mechanics. I have shorted only one stock in my time and that was Campbell Redlake, many years ago. The 3 days you are talking about are settlement for funds and doesn't enter into this issue. If you want all the facts -- call the NASDAQ in NY City and they will give you the official story. Fiero is now on the bid, so they are again attempting to take stock back in and balance the books. C L
