Hey Grit,

The object of the game is to purchase 10k+/- shares of "WXYZ", wait for the price to double (..or better..) (+ the cost of commissions), then you sell half (5k+/-) of your total holding. Thus, you have your original investment cash(+) back in your trading account for other issues.

Your remaining 5k+/- shares of "WXYZ" are in essence "free". This is a common strategy for "penny players" due to the volatility of OTC/BB stocks vs: major NASDAQ, AMEX & NYSE stocks.

As WXYZ continues to appreciate, you retain the value of shares that cost you "nothing". Hence they are referred to as "free shares".

Same deal as if your "..rich uncle.." gave you the 5k shares of WXYZ, that you now have, as a gift.

Regards,

John :-)
