Long Term Protection (over 7 years)

The continued "evelution of technology" practically
guarantees that digital media used today will not
be readable 7 years from now, much less 20 years,
50 years or 100 years from now.

Because of the problems created by evolving technology,
many industry and government leaders are beginning to
recognize the importance of using microfilm for long
term storage of digital information. For example, the
province of Quebec in Canada requires that all documentation
produced in digital format must be backed up by an
eyereadable copy
for as long as the document is legally
required. Also, several states within the United States,
including Michigan, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York,
are considering new laws which will make eyereadable
backup mandatory for digital documents
which must be
kept for more then 7 years.

Footnote: A company's insurance premiums may be
significantly reduced as a result of this added protection.

Happy investing!
