Mike,

<From a layman's point of view, more HDSL bandwidth, means more T1 lines, means more demand for Titan. So isn't there a connection to a sudden doubling of available HDSL copper pairs, and the demand for Tellabs' Titan T1 cross-connect product? >

My theory is that HDSL2 deployments are beneficial to T1 port card shipments to the extent that they are deployed in pairgain applications. As far as HDSL2 being used in business internet access applications, it could connect to a fiber backbone without ever touching a Titan.
But, to be sure, I don't know the answer to this and the impact of new access technologies on Titan shipments is what I am trying to find out.

Chuck
