Corporate Update

In response to the recent announcements by Chase Manhattan, First Union and Wells Fargo Bank regarding the launch of a new online bill presentment company called the Exchange, management of billserv.com, Inc. said the following.

"It's billserv.com's opinion that the Exchange is a good thing for our company and the electronic bill presentment and payment industry. In fact, we are currently in talks with The Exchange. We view the Exchange as another billing aggregator with which we hope to develop an agreement to receive bills from billserv.com. As more and more of these companies are created, our company's service bureau offering makes more sense to small to medium sized billers because we make it simpler to manage all the various billing relationships. Again, this is great news for us, as it validates our original vision in creating our business plan".

"billserv.com is excited and encouraged by the foresight that these banks have shown to get involved with EBPP. billserv.com has always felt that new aggregation companies would be developed, and as the choices grow for consumers on where they will view and pay bills on the Internet, billserv.com will grow as well. It is billserv.com's full intention to have full coverage for billers in order for bills to be delivered wherever a consumer would like to receive them".

Senior Vice President
