Once you select the right stock (and MSFT is one for sure) it does work.

Have you done better trading MSFT then if you had hold on to it? If your answer is yes then take into account the taxes you have paid on profit, commission fees and compare again. If your answer is still yes, then you may have something. To make sure, you have to compare over the long term (at least 5 years IMO) to make sure that you are beating MSFT stock performance by trading it.

If you have started trading MSFT recently, you should be interested to compare in a honest fashion your results versus MSFT stock performance. That way, you will be able to see if your trading strategy really works.
